World Percussion

World Percussion
Real hand percussion for Maniac Player, from the Middle East to Latin America. Every hit comes from a real recording of a real drum. Each one was cleaned of noise and levelled so that every key and every velocity plays evenly. You get darbuka, frame drums, cajon, congas, bongos and a full set of hand percussion, with a 9-channel mixer and ready-made grooves.
Instruments
WORLD PERCUSSION KIT: Every drum and hand percussion in one instrument, on 9 mixer channels.
MIDDLE EAST PERCUSSION: Darbuka, frame drums, tambourines, finger cymbals and claps.
LATIN PERCUSSION: Cajon, congas, bongos, shakers, agogo, claves, cabasa, claps and chimes.
Sounds
DARBUKA: Doum, Tek, Ka, Slap and Snap.
FRAME DRUMS: Large and small, open and muted.
CAJON: Bass, Tone and Slap.
CONGAS: Quinto, Conga and Tumba, open tone and bass.
BONGOS: High and low, open and muted, plus rolls.
HAND PERCUSSION: Two tambourines (hits, shakes, rolls), shakers, claps, agogo, claves, cabasa and finger cymbals.
CHIMES & FX: Mark tree (up, down, gliss) and ocean drum.
Sound
49 sounds, 188 samples: Lossless FLAC, 48 kHz / 24-bit.
Up to 4 velocity layers and 6 round robins: No machine-gun repeats, even on fast rolls.
Even playing: Every stroke and every round robin is levelled to the same loudness, so nothing jumps out of the groove.
Clean recordings: Noise removed and every hit starts right on time, with no latency.
Real muting: A muted stroke stops the open ring on the same drum (conga, bongo, frame drum), just like a real hand.
Full map: C1 to C5, all on one keyboard.
