DarkStypePro — S-Type Bus Compressor Advanced

The flagship S-Type bus compressor. Everything in DarkStype, plus a complete tonal-shaping suite built around the same schematic-accurate IGS topology: 6-band sidechain EQ, 6-band output EQ, transformer modeling, drive, and a soft-knee control. One plugin from detector to final output.

Compressor core (same as DarkStype):

• THAT2181 VCA with class-A op-amp stages
• THAT2252-style log-domain RMS detector
• London / New York sidechain modes
• Continuous Attack (0.1–30 ms) and Release (0.05–1.5 s) with Auto Release
• 3-stop Ratio: 2:1 / 4:1 / 10:1
• ~0.012% THD at 0 dBu, transformerless audio path

Pro extras:

• 6-band Sidechain EQ — Bell / LShelf / HShelf / LCut / HCut per band, surgical detector shaping
• 6-band Output EQ — full parametric post-compression for tonal balance in the same plugin
• Knee — continuous offset (-10 to +10) for soft/hard compression character
• Input Gain — pre-compressor drive with auto-compensation (volume preserved)
• Saturation — drives the class-A op-amp stage with auto-compensated output level so you hear character changes, not volume jumps
• Output Transformer — None / Carnhill / Sowter / Cinemag / Marinair
• Output Gain — ±12 dB final trim
• x2 / x4 / x8 oversampling
