Dark3A Optical Leveling Amplifier

A faithful emulation of the classic LA-3A electro-optical compressor — the solid-state successor to the LA-2A. Dark3A delivers the same smooth optical compression with a faster, more forward character. The FET input stage replaces tubes with punchy odd-harmonic grit, while the lighter transformer and tighter low end make it a go-to on vocals, bass, and guitars where you need compression with presence.
